The creative lecture with performance…  

Through interactive thinking exercises, inspiring tools and a brief theoretical explanation of what our therapy does to people, we introduce the listener to the principles of narrative therapy. We illustrate these principles with children’s stories in a performance that outlines pediatrics in music, word and dance. You can book this performance in English or Dutch. It is performed by three people: Sharmila Madhvani (psychologist and writer) Sofian Dhondt: music therapist, songwriter and singer, and Anahi: dancer. For people interested in the medical part, Professor Yvan Vandenplas can come along to highlight the aspect of the holistic approach to medicine. Enjoy this creative performance that seeks to inspire people with these stories of real children and how they resonate through the unspoken stories in the hearts of everyone in the audience….  

The box…  

Eleven of those stories/words/photos/music…. we bundled into a box we called “Stories”. “Stories” is not about the result, although that is wonderfully beautiful, but about the concept, the road we took with the young people on the one hand and on the other hand what we can each learn from it.
